RamoFlix ("we", "us", "our") operates the website ramoflix.info and the RamoFlix Android application. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used and protected.
We are committed to minimal data collection. Our platform is a movie discovery tool — we do not require accounts, do not sell advertising, and do not share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

2.1 Data you provide voluntarily
RamoFlix does not require registration or account creation. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message only.
2.2 Data collected automatically
When you visit ramoflix.info, our server and analytics tools may automatically collect:

- Referring URL (the page you came from)
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Approximate geographic location (country/region level only, derived from IP address)
- IP address (anonymized after processing — not stored in identifiable form)
2.3 Android app data
The RamoFlix Android app collects a Device ID for the sole purpose of persisting your watchlist between sessions on the same device. This ID is not linked to your personal identity and is not transmitted to our servers.

How We Use Your Data
Data collected by RamoFlix is used only for the following purposes:
- Operating and improving the ramoflix.info website and Android app

RamoFlix uses browser localStorage (not tracking cookies) to save your watchlist locally on your own device. This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to us.
We may use essential session cookies for site functionality. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or any cookie that follows you across other websites.
You can clear localStorage and cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will reset your local watchlist.
Third-Party Services
RamoFlix uses the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
- TMDB (The Movie Database) — we fetch publicly available movie and TV show data from the TMDB API. TMDB's privacy policy applies to data requests made to their servers. See themoviedb.org/privacy-policy.
- Google Play Store — the Android app is distributed through Google Play. Google's privacy practices apply when you download or interact with the app listing. See policies.google.com/privacy.
We do not embed social media trackers, advertising networks, or any other third-party scripts beyond what is described above.
Data Retention
Anonymized analytics data is retained for up to 24 months for the purpose of identifying long-term usage trends, then deleted. Email correspondence is retained for up to 12 months after the last communication, then deleted.
Your watchlist data, stored in your browser's localStorage, is retained until you clear it manually or clear your browser data. We have no access to this data.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — request confirmation of whether we hold data about you
- Right to deletion — request erasure of any identifiable data we hold
- Right to object — object to processing of your data for specific purposes
- Right to data portability — receive a copy of your data in a portable format

Children's Privacy

Ramoflix.info is served exclusively over HTTPS. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect the data we do collect against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of RamoFlix after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via site notice.
